Intro

The new version of the ESPHome update updates a cool submission from regevbr, which adds details such as engineering mode and specific settings. We got a lot of feedback from users wanting to have these features on the firmware.

We will try to do some Beta pushes next, hopefully the first Beta will be released tomorrow and will start with the most used 1U and 1W series.

In the meantime we will be fixing a past issue with energy units, for which we have received multiple feedbacks.

Due to the specificity of the 1U - which uses the S2 chip - it will be a bit more complicated to recover if the update process is damaged. So please weigh whether the current functionality is sufficient for the use, and then wait for the beta to stabilize a bit before following.

Thanks to the ESPHome community developers for their efforts.

Thank you for your support.

We will update this page with the progress of the test firmware https://docs.screek.io/gen1/beta

Stable Fix Release

💡
This is an ongoing change for using the early original LD2410 modification library, this one will be a bit more stable for now, mainly for some esphome kernel synchronization, and some minor issue fixes.
