Sensors
F2
We have investigated the latest sensor modules, conducting tests over a continuous period involving multiple units. Below are some preliminary findings:
- The sensors are highly sensitive; as usual, they may be excessively sensitive under the default settings. Increasing the values of mth1, mth2 and mth3 to a relatively high level eliminates these false alarms.
- The sensors are capable of detecting targets at a certain distance behind them; care must be taken to ensure that people passing behind the installation do not cause interference. This can be mitigated by using metal materials such as aluminium foil; if the wall is not particularly thin, the impact is minimal.

Overall, we believe it remains an excellent mmWave sensor for relatively simple environments, offering fast response times and high sensitivity.
