SFA-40A

Following the release of the SFA-1, which featured numerous SFA30 sensors, we are pleased to report that they have performed reliably, giving us a high-quality consumer-grade formaldehyde sensor.

Mass production of the SFA40 appears to have stabilized. We have ported the code, made some improvements, added new features, and subjected them to extensive testing. However, we hope we have stayed true to our original vision of creating a sensor that is both simple and truly plug-and-play.

We are very satisfied with its performance; it demonstrates excellent resistance to interference from alcohol-based substances like perfumes.

We are currently designing its housing—a sleek, minimalist enclosure—and plan to share it soon. This new sensor will be named the SFA-40A. We chose the letter “A” to leave room for a potential “B” design in the future.

We’re excited about this new sensor and the journey ahead. As always, we’re thrilled to explore and experiment with you all.

If we’re lucky, we’ll be among the first in the world to DIY these, and it’s our honor to do so alongside you:)

Meanwhile, the SFA-1 is considered stable and reliable, and we’ll continue to manufacture and share them.
