Battery Temperature and Humidity Sensor THS-M1 Prototype
With the help of Xiaomi Temperature and Humidity Meter 2, changing it to open source firmware, changing the CR2032 coin cell battery to be powered by a 7 cell battery, and then using the native BTHome protocol and changing it to a higher refresh rate, we now have a portable temperature and humidity meter.
Here's the prototype and we hope to share it soon.
Compared to the original Xiaomi Thermo-Hygrometer 2, it features:
- Direct access to HA via Bluetooth using open source firmware.
- According to new research on open source firmware, it can also access Z2M using Zigbee protocol.
- Higher refresh rate, response speed.
- Powered by a larger #7 battery to support longer-lasting use at high refresh rates.
- A 3D printed stand up stand, he can be placed anywhere.
Due to courier restrictions, even if we are able to share it, it will come without batteries.
