After extensive experimentation with the SPS30 and SCD40, we concluded that combining them might prove advantageous. This collaboration resulted in a device utilising two sensors we've frequently employed recently. Their integration delivers PM2.5 monitoring capabilities alongside CO2 detection – a potentially intriguing combination.
We invite everyone to join this new adventure, hoping it becomes a useful sensor fixture – like all SCREEK sensors, working quietly yet reliably around the clock.
It's currently in its first manufacturing batch, with all DIY kits assembled and dispatched within 3-5 days. We aim to test them thoroughly to ensure reliability before dispatch.
Thank you all, and we hope you enjoy it.
Regarding the firmware and usage process, it employs a carefully customised ESPHome firmware that simplifies the workflow. Simply power the sensor, connect to its hotspot ENV-SENSOR-ENV-CP, and configure your Wi-Fi via the pop-up page (if it doesn't appear, ensure you're connected to the hotspot and navigate to http://192.168.4.1 to access the Wi-Fi setup interface). Once complete, Home Assistant will automatically discover the sensor and add it directly.
The entire configuration process is finished once the sensor obtains its Wi-Fi credentials.
